According to the Digest`s Editorial office opinion, the main events of the October 2022 in Russian pharmaceutical industry are:

- since February of this year, not a single foreign pharmaceutical company has left the Russian market;

- analysts have predicted the growth of the Russian pharmaceutical market by the end of 2022 up to 47 billion USD;

- The President of Russia approved the law on prescription medicines online-trading;

- in the eastern region of Russia, experts found fake veterinary medicines;

- one of the largest Russian distributors lost a lawsuit against Johnson & Johnson for 6.5 million USD.
