According to the Digest`s Editorial office opinion, the main events of the December 2022 in Russian pharmaceutical industry are:

- Vladimir Putin signed a law on the revival of production pharmacies in Russia;

- Russia has entered the top-5 leading countries in terms of the AIDS spread speed;

- developers of pharmaceutical raw materials will receive tax benefits;

- due to the introduction of the labeling system in 2022, counterfeit medicines worth $ 15 mln were detected in Russia;

- fake medicines for animals were sold in pet stores in the Russian Krasnoyarsk Region.
