According to the Digest`s Editorial office opinion, the main events of the February 2023 in Russian pharmaceutical industry are:

- pharmacies divide the territory. Facing pressure from federal pharmacy chains, small players are trying to limit their expansion opportunities.

- there are more than a hundred medicines under threat of shortage in Russia;

- how is the clinical research market being rebuilt in the country;

- the regulator has blocked 45,000 fake pharmacy websites. Illegal medicines sales are growing every year;

- scammers started selling fake prescriptions for medicines.
