According to the Digest`s Editorial office opinion, the main events of the May 2023 in Russian pharmaceutical industry are:

- the medicines and medical devices production is defined by the Russian Government as a state goal of technological development;

- a Russian pharmaceutical distributor has started its own production of clean rooms panels;

- Novo Nordisk can transfer its Russian business to a partner;

- a new plant for the radiopharmaceuticals production has been opened in Russia;

- Russian Pharma is discussing the WHO head statement about a new coronavirus stamm.
