According to the Digest`s Editorial office opinion, the main events of the July 2023 in Russian pharmaceutical industry are:

- Russian pharmaceutical manufacturers will be able to count on state support;

- the growth of local substances production in 2022 amounted to 24%;

- the domestic pharmaceutical industry is asking to tighten supervision over the food supplements sales;

- in Russia, suspects in the illegal sale of medicines were detained again;

- in June, the regulator revealed a counterfeit and rejected 142 substandard medicines batches.
