According to the Digest`s Editorial office opinion, the main events of the October 2023 in Russian pharmaceutical industry are:

- a special economic zone dedicated to biopharmaceuticals will be created in the Kirov region;

- Leonid Roshal proposed to transfer a number of functions of the Ministry of Health to an non-profit organization;

- two Russian pharmaceutical companies were suspected of cartel conspiracy;

- The Russian Prime Minister announced a "megaproject" for 10 billion rubles for the production of medicines;

- a survey of doctors showed that it has become more difficult for Russian patients to buy RX-medicines.
