According to the Digest`s Editorial office opinion, the main events of the January 2024 in Russian pharmaceutical industry are:

-the range of cheap medicines has been halved In pharmacies retail in three years;

-Assets of a big Russian pharmaceutical distributor may be transferred to new owners;

-the Russian antimonopoly Service issued a warning to Astellas;

-the Russian regulator blocked 449 substandard medicines batches;

-food additives containing drugs have been found on free sale/
