According to the Digest`s Editorial office opinion, the main events of the August 24 in Russian pharmaceutical industry are:

- The Russian Ministry of Industry will establish an award for the pharmaceutical industry;

- The President of Russia signed a law establishing the priority of Russian companies in public procurement;

- in Belarus, the ban on the sale of online dietary supplements, pyrotechnics and medicines has been lifted;

- Bayer has decided to sue the Russian manufacturer for violating the medicines rights;

- in the center of Russia, the police seized 91 kg of a imported falsified medicines substance.
