According to the Digest`s Editorial office opinion, the main events of the January`2026 in Russian pharmaceutical industry are:

- In 2025, the regulator blocked 117 thousand Internet resources illegally selling medicines of questionable quality and origin.;

- about 3.5 thousand new medical devices were registered in Russia in 2025;

- the unique effect of the "forgotten" antibiotic will help fight superbugs. How the discovery of Russian scientists will create a new class of medicines;

- the Ministry of Agriculture will simplify the veterinary vaccines introduction to Russian manufacturers;

- Minister of Industry: at least 10 pharmaceutical production facilities will be built in Russia by 2030.
