According to the Digest`s Editorial office opinion, the main events of the June`2026 in Russian pharmaceutical industry are:

- The Russian government plans to launch in July 2026 a new mechanism for calculating the localization depth of its products. This is necessary to provide manufacturers with preferences in public procurement;

- the labeling system has blocked 2,000 low-quality veterinary medicines;

- The Russian parliament has proposed to create a single state body on medicines policy;

- the large Russian pharmacy owners chain will invest 0.5 billion dollars in the construction of a pharmaceutical plant in the south of Russia;

- Russia is developing a state Medicines safety strategy.
