According to the Digest`s Editorial office opinion, the main events of the August`2026 in Russian pharmaceutical industry are:

- Russian pharmaceutical manufacturers must be prepared for unscheduled inspections and their negative consequences;

- an experiment on selling medicines in mobile pharmacies in remote villages will begin on September 1;

- a large state‑owned holding is launching Russia’s largest radiopharmaceutical plant;

- the Russian regulator has withdrawn 17 medicines batches from circulation over the past month;

- a new acquisition deal in the pharmaceutical retail market.
