According to the Digest`s Editorial office opinion, the main events of the October`2026 in Russian pharmaceutical industry are:

- experts discussed the raw material independence of the Russian pharmaceutical industry;

- at the suggestion of the Antimonopoly Service, the price of one of the in‑demand medicinal products has been reduced;

- the Russian regulator will license medicines production in accordance with the Eurasian Economic Union GMP rules;

- experts estimated the size of the shadow segment in pharmacies at approximately half a billion US dollars;

- the court delivered a verdict in a case involving the illegal medicines production.
