According to the Digest`s Editorial office opinion, the main events of the December 2018 in Russian pharmaceutical industry are:

- the Russian pharmaceutical Associations outlined the risks to the medicines supply because of the drastic change of the labeling concept;

- The Russian government will revise the prices of vital medicines;

- The Ministry of health has filed another nine lawsuits against the largest Russian distributor «R-Pharm»;

- acquisitions of Russian medicines manufacturers;

- Russian Parliament: for the sale of counterfeit drugs via the Internet one will face up to 8 years in prison.
