According to the Digest`s Editorial office opinion, the main events of the April 2020 in Russian pharmaceutical industry are:

- The Russian Ministry of health reminded of the responsibility for violation of legislation in the field of medical devices circulation;

- The Russian Ministry of industry has issued more than USD 140 mln to manufacturers of products aimed at fighting coronavirus;

- The association of pharmaceutical manufacturers indicates the need to create a single regulator for the industry;

- Pensioners of Moscow and Saint Petersburg will receive free sets of medicines from pharmaceutical companies;

- The largest Russian pharmaceutical holding is buying up its shares on the market.
