According to the Digest`s Editorial office opinion, the main events of the August 2022 in Russian pharmaceutical industry are:

- This autumn, Russia may adopt a law on the revival of medicines production in pharmacies;

- during the international operation "Pangea" no falsified medicines were detected on the territory of Russia;

- former officials of the Ministry of Industry and Trade are accused of fraud;

- labeling of medical devices will become mandatory in Russia in 2023;

- websites with prohibited veterinary drugs will be blocked in Russia. Medicines for animals were proposed to be labeled on an equal basis with medicines for humans.
